Kodak is the gateway to Sevierville and Gatlinburg. It is adjacent to my lovely hometown of Strawberry Plains, Tn.
I was so happy to see Publix down here in FL carrying Swaggerty's sausage some stores even have Mayfield Ice cream.!!!!

Last night, barbecued pork spare ribs and homemade tater salad. After a couple of years of making disappointing ribs on my Klose smoker (which makes killer pork butt and brisket), I went back to the ol' Weber with them yesterday, and man were they tender and delicious.

I think tonight we are mixing some corn and black bean salsa, frying some corn tortilla chips and having that with leftovers from last night. We shucked some corn yesterday and I grilled it on the Weber while I was waiting for the coals to heat up. Should make some good salsa, with some onions, black beans, cilantro and some of our canned salsa from last year.

Not big on chain restaurants but those two, Abuelo's and California PIzza Kitchen are pretty good. A friend of mine just took over managing The Smokey Bones here in town so I'm gonna have to give them a try again.
