Pork chops, greens, navy beans, and fried okra. Okra was from someone's garden the GF knows, turned out ok. First time I have breaded my own. Looked like it was going pretty bad but pulled through in the end. Certainly not my grandma's but I would do it again.
Haven't made it yet but Mom and Dad are coming over for dinner tonight. Teriyaki/Spicy Szechuan marinated pork tenderloin topped baked potatoes!
Made it on a whim when we didn't have much in the house last week and it was unreal! Me and the lady didn't move until all of it was gone. Here's to hoping that I can recreate it
Good on ya. I didn't even know it was Mexican. You have better luck with it than I do. Love it the first time but never the second. Italian I prefer the second. That goes for almost any soup too.
