Whole rotisserie chicken, pork loin, baked sliced potato, corn on the cob, soup, and a biscuit! Dixie stampede, and I was impressed.

We got a flyer in the mail today and I told hubby it was time we go again. How'd you like the show? I think it's a different one than when we were there.

We all loved it! They had the preshow little concert which was fun in the saloon, and the actual show was very entertaining. I was skeptical because I had never been, but really was impressed.

I've only been once. I expected it to be really hokey, but it was really a lot of fun.

Chicken and dumplings, BBQ brisket, pulled pork, baked beans, green beans, creamed corn, home made rolls, cornbread, potato salad, green salad, bean salad, candied sweet potatoes, coconut cake, chocolate pie, angel food cake, oatmeal cookies, caramel cake, pecan pie, chocolate cookies, sweet tea, and coffee. Another family reunion in the books!

I ate some of all that. We eat the first meal at lunch ("dinner" in that part of Mississippi), snack and graze all afternoon, then eat supper, then continue snacking and telling lies until the last cousin leaves. Thankfully, I only had to waddle to an adjacent bedroom and fall down afterward.
