What did you have for dinner?

I've been wanting to do some BBQ porkchops.

I haven't mastered BBQ on the grill yet. I'm messy.

Oh yeah, my Thermapen arrived yesterday so I'm looking forward to grilling out today and trying it out. I bought it at the recommendation of some on this board.

For dinner last night, I had wings from Buffalo Wild Wings.
 
I don't get to cook much for my mom so I try to go all out on the special days I do like Mothers Day and her birthday. So, Mothers Day menu for tonight is grilled New York Strip Steaks, grilled leg of lamb, grilled shrimp, a shrimp and crab pasta dish, eggplant rollatini, salad, sautéed zucchini, grilled carrots, long hot peppers and a strawberry, raspberry, blackberry and blueberry fruit dish for dessert. What are you guys having?

Chicken kabobs from food lion, homemade fries and hot doggies. I'm full now, no midnight snack needed.
 
Last night we had my current favorite meal - bacon, egg and leek risotto. And we tried a new recipe for dessert - black pepper grapefruit meringue pie. So, so good.
 
I've never thought about adding balsamic vinegar to fruit, but my brother recommended us trying it so we did a dessert dish last night that was cut up strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries and added 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar to it and a little bit of sugar and it was awesome. I definitely recommend you guys try it if you want a refreshing and healthy dessert dish. We also did a little whipped cream on the side for those who wanted it.
 
Homemade re-fried pintos, homemade Mexican rice w/ homemade SW seasoned chicken breast. Also, homemade pico de gallo and store bought shredded cheese and sour cream and fresh avocado to help it along.
