My sister has a recipe she uses for this and for some reason hers always turns out a little more soupy rather than like chili. I keep wanting to tweak her recipe. How do you make yours?
We had chili spaghetti. Used macaroni noodles in place of the Fritos.
Mine is somewhere between soup and chili
Saute chopped onion till soft. Add 3 cups chicken broth, can of northern beans and butter beans (drained and rinsed), 10-12 oz. of frozen corn, cumin, chopped parsley, dash of hot sauce. Bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes. Add 1 1/2-2 lbs of diced cooked chicken breast. Turn up to medium and serve when hot.
We usually eat it with shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, etc. It's thick enough to eat with a Tostitos Scoop.
