What did you have for dinner?

She rolls them very thin.

That's how my ex-husband's grandmother, my step-mother, and my husband's mother make them. Phenomenal!

My great-grandmother taught me to make the fluffy kind and I haven't been able to master the thinner kind.

Good thing I still have people to make them for me! I love any and every kind of dumpling when it's served with chicken.

Took the MIL to one of my favorite restaurants for Mothers Day.

I had the baked escargot and the macadamia nut crusted chicken with a lobster sherry sauce and asparagus. Shared a Creme Brulee with RV for dessert.

There was once a snail who was sick and tired of his reputation for being so slow. He decided to get some fast wheels to make up the difference. After shopping around a while, he decided that the Datson 240-Z was the car to get. So the snail goes to the nearest Datsun dealer and says he wants to buy the 240-Z, but he wants it repainted "240-S".

The dealer asks, "Why 'S'?"

The snail replies, "'S' stands for snail. I want everybody who sees me roaring past to know who's driving."

Well, the dealer doesn't want to lose the unique opportunity to sell a car to a snail, so he agrees to have the car repainted for a small fee.

The snail gets his new car and spent the rest of his days roaring happily down the highway at top speed. And whenever anyone would see him zooming by, they'd say "Wow! Look at that S-car go!"

Damn my brain is weird. For about 5 minutes I couldn't remember what I had. Skipped breakfast and made 3 huge breakfast burritos for a sort of brunch thing. I continued the breakfast theme for dinner. Couple of eggs over hash browns and biscuits w/ sausage gravy.

My Dad used to love breakfast for dinner.
I could eat biscuits and gravy anytime!

We made steaks (ribeyes and filets) for my wife, 2 sisters and mom yesterday. Plus asparagus, salad, baked or sweet potatos and some of those red lobster cheddar biscuits. Damn it was good eats.
