Sounds like a classy meal! Hey,they could have brought that nice champagne possibly from France ha 😂 Me and the lady had a Chinese Buffet here in town called Ming Garden.

lol, I wish we we had a decent Chinese buffet here!

As for the not-Champagne, we bought it there (at Biltmore), so pretty sure that it’s local. 🤪 🥂

Well,it's an early dinner to Golden Corral. No power so no way to cook. Would like to eat a home cooked meal,but that's not happening anytime soon.

Edit:My mom and sister picked me up since they live nearby and went to IHOP instead. Golden Corral was packed. Our waitress went above and beyond knowing our neighborhood didn't have power,and didn't charge us for our drinks. Also,let me charge my phone while we were there.

Got a text about 45 minutes ago telling me that our power is out and they hope to get it back on by 6:00 PM.
30 seconds later, got a text from Spectrum letting me know that there is a service outage until 5:00.

Luckily is been drizzling and cool most of the day. Temps in the low 70s last night. So the heat hasn't been a big issue..[/QUOTE]

I did realize I don't have much in the way of emergency lights. So I ordered some new ones.

Up in SW Virginia,they were first priority..... I'm giving it to 7 tonight and I'm heading to stay at my fiancees house up there since she stays with her family right below it helping them out.Kingsport wasn't prepared for this.
