Green beans with shallots and red peppers in bacon grease and chicken stock

I love Savannah. Been there a couple of times. So much history, art and architecture. And the live oaks. Beautiful. So right now I'm a little jealous.

It truly is beautiful. I hate that we're heading back home tommorow. For someone who is a big history buff like myself, there's so much to learn and see.

As far as dinner today, Salisbury steak and diced potatoes. I'm glad we've switched out meals from eating out to cooking a couple of days.

Yeah, it will nice to get back to Kingsport. Living somewhere really makes you take where you live for granted at times. I love it down here ,and the kind,southern hospitality I've experienced from the locals,but it will be nice to be back home and sleep in my own bed,that's for sure.

Rusty pizza with a Freschetta square Brick Ovem 3-meat pizza base, plus sautéed chopped onions, roasted red peppers, and mushrooms, fresh basil, and tomato paste on the Good Side and anchovy paste (out of jarred anchovies) on the icky side.

FINALLY got Hubs to take a break from the dang South Beach diet. whew

No one felt like cooking after driving all day. So we just made a roast beef sandwich and cut a cucumber we bought at a roads side stand on the way home.

Nope. First ever Polish GSD and Huskey. Luckily for both of us he didn't eat my pierogis. We would have been fighting instead of hiding out from momma at Lowe's.

Well I went to a local Bar and Grill and ordered some onion rings and then i had peach cobbler with ice-cream and it was fabulous
