Went with family to help out with a doctor's appointment. Now,going with them to Cracker Barrel. Haven't been in a good while.

CB used to be really good. Not sure what happened, but it's not as good as it used to be IMHO.

Their catfish is my favorite

I love their Catfish. I had their new Country Seafood Sampler today which is a special on Fridays. It has Cod and Jumbo Shrimp come with it. Got Pinto beans and coleslaw as sides. All in all a great little meal. Took some of their biscuits home because they're so good

I will never go back. Poor service and poor food. I gave up on them once before and gave them another try - never again. Not just a single location - multiple locations

This one was actually pretty good. I've been to those with terrible service and below average food though. Our waitress went above and beyond and earned her tip. My biggest complaint was not putting the fireplace on because it's been cold today. Felt like a freezer in there. A lot of people with coats on

I was in Knoxville this week and ate at Nick and J’s Grill on Friday for lunch. I had the Fish special. Cod fish, fries and Cole slaw. Baklava for dessert. Very good

We bought a half a pork butt from the smoke wagon at Food City. Gonna have pulled pork sandwiches and doctored up baked beans.

I am with you on that. They just opened up here in KC over the past couple of years. There are still long lines at the one that opened near our house. The burger tastes like a sonic burger to me, so nothing special. The fries are better. The kids liked the milk shakes and the spicy ketchup. We can buy their spicy ketchup at the grocery store and get a better burger somewhere else. Patrick Mahomes has ownership in a few of the locations in the area and had some influence getting them to come to KC. I was expecting something better.

There are so many options these days that it is difficult to stand out. I was born in Texas and moved to TN at a young age. But when we visited family back in Texas, Whataburger was a favorite. Once you get used to other things, it’s hard to be different after so many years. Whataburger just happened to be something I had at a younger age. I am excited about some coming to west TN, but I’ve now had others that are good, too.
