Baked fresh red drum (redfish) (rental's gas grill was not working) with rice pilaf á la whatever I could dig up from the fridge and cabinet (jarred minced garlic, jarred roasted red pepper, chopped sweet onion, dried chopped chives, butter, olive oil, and white wine)

I am grateful for whatever small island grocery stores have in stock... Heck, I'm grateful for small islands! The more remote, the better.

I am with you on that. They just opened up here in KC over the past couple of years. There are still long lines at the one that opened near our house. The burger tastes like a sonic burger to me, so nothing special. The fries are better. The kids liked the milk shakes and the spicy ketchup. We can buy their spicy ketchup at the grocery store and get a better burger somewhere else. Patrick Mahomes has ownership in a few of the locations in the area and had some influence getting them to come to KC. I was expecting something better.

That sounds sooo Good! I Love scallops and then wrapped in bacon......woo hoo!
