Vandy's shutout also puts Mason on the hot seat. The Zone was reporting rumors that Vandy is talking to former Titan's coach Jeff Fisher who has a desire to get back to Nashville and coach. It would be a major coup if they could get him, but Vandy would have to agree to major investments, plus a hefty salary for him to go there. High school teams are drawing more fans than Vandy now. It is a long road to make them competitive, even if you're Jeff Fisher.
