My dad mentioned it last night and I didn't get a chance to ask him. It sounded like it had to do with them being ready to play tomorrow?

Noon games always suck, the team comes out flat, and the fans are asleep. If they play hard tomorrow, start to finish, I'll feel a lot better about next week.

He said a few days ago that he's glad it's a noon game so they don't have to sit around all day watching other teams play. They can wake up and go just go play football. He said something like that anyway.

Pretty sure he said he loves the noon games when asked about it. That you get up and it's basically game time instead of waiting around all day to play.

Noon games means the networks thinks it's a bad game

Yeah, that's exactly what he said. That he likes early games because then they can wake up and go play the game they love, don't have to sit around the hotel watching other teams who get to go do it first.

Love the attitude. :)

After Barnetts comment about loving noon games, John Brice jokingly told Barnett he bets he would play all those games on Saturday, Barnett quickly agreed. Beast.

I always thought the afternoon games favor the away team. It has got to be a lot easier for the home team than the away team to sit around and wait. However the biggest thing I notice is the crowd. People come in late, and breakfast tailgates just aren't the same (at least for me).

One of the worst Neyland games for me was the 2001 Georgia game. It was a noon game and I have never seen a more apathetic crowd, and I believe the team played like that in the first half.

Considering how they came out for the first two games this could be a serious problem tomorrow..

I like noon games cause we get to see our team right off the gate instead of having to wait all day and night for them to play. And if we win it makes the rest of the day relaxing and easier to watch all the other games.

DB is a beast and I share his approach to get things done in the morning.... however, I am not a beast like DB.

Anyone else a little worried that a noon game will give the team a little more time to get in trouble the rest of the day?

Maybe in the first half. But that equaled the loudest I have heard Neyland, when TS scored on the screen pass. I'm sure VFL34 has described the play before, but I would love to know what that sounded like from the field. Because it was complete chaos in the stands.
