I am watching the S.Carolina - Miss St game. Boy if we had not lost Hunter i know we could have beat Georgia and S Carolina. And i still think we can beat S.Carolina without Bray and Hunter. If we had everyone i think we could have lost only to Flordia,LSU,Alabama, and Arky. I just do not get why everyone is on Dooley's back. You tell me what team can loose it's starting QB and WR and still win in the SEC? Go VOLS!!!!

LSU lost JJ and Russell Shephard

I'd say we have a shot at winning it.

Yeah, we are where we are for many reasons. Fulmer falling off on the recruiting trail. Kiffin recruiting poorly in his 13 months. Dooley and staff not building a respectable running game and being saddled with little depth and experience.

Before the injuries we might have been able to steal a game or two, but without our top 3 difference makers at this point... its just too much to ask.

It still wouldn't matter, both of their lines are so strong and deep. That program is literally a decade ahead of us with what Saban started in 2000 and and then handed off to Myles.

Two average players that their offense doesn't need to succeed. We lost the two players that our offense technically runs through. It was a blessing that they lost JJ cuz IMO Lee is a better QB and moves their offense a lot better. Idk why JJ started last year everytime LSU needed a big play LEE would come in.

Once again, i was just doing what the OP said, naming a team that lost their starting QB and WR and can still win in the SEC.

I've always thought Lee had it more put together then JJ. And Randle, and Beckham are better the Shep as far as pure receivers go.

JJ was the starter, Lee came in maybe less then 20 plays all of last season. And Shep was our number 1 at the start of the season.
