Im curious as to what coaches you dislike the most (lets leave Phil out of it) and which you admire. For me, I cant stand Tommy Tuberville or any of the Bowdens (esp Bobby who I believe is a complete fraud). I think very highly of Pete Carrol, Dennis Erickson, and Bob Stoops.

I had to get this in as well, but as for past coaches, Jimmy Johnson was the best and I dont have the words to fully express how much I hate Lou Holtz.

I say that because he projects this grandfatherly image and how much he loves his kids, but in reality he cares only about himself (see the Brandon Warren situation), he will never discipline a kid in a way that will cause the player to miss a meaningful game (ie one he might lose), which sends a wonderful message about priorities.

+1. Bowden's a great football coach, but personality wise he's fake fake fake.

I dislike Tuberville, Carr, Brown, Miles, Rodriguez, and Saban. Oh, and Jon Gruden.

Steve Spurrier, Vince Dooley, Gerry DiNardo, Lou Holtz, Joe Paterno, Bear Bryant... Are all coaches that have always rubbed me the wrong way.

The younger guys haven't had enough time to really get under my skin yet.

Gary patterson sure seems to be the real deal, i wonder how much longer he lasts down there, im suprised somebody hasnt scooped him up already. he'd get my vote for new coach after Phil gets canned
