I've got a Cuban MonteCristo #4 all ready. If you want Cubans go to CigarPuff.com out of Canada, that's where I got mine. I was just wondering if anyone else on here plans to light one up after the game Saturday and what kind. I normally don't smoke much but I do make exceptions such as this possible chance to puff.

Huge MonteCristo fan, althought I don't smoke cigars as much as I used to. Mostly just on the golf course. I find the Dominican Montecristos are just as good if not better than the Cubans for my palette. Most of the Cubans I have tried are just too strong for my taste.

I agree. I have had some great Cuban cigars and have had some lousy Cubans, just as I have had great and lousy Dominicans cigars. In my opinion, the best thing that ever happened to the Cuban cigar industry was the American embargo of all things Cuban.

The only thing that will be lit up is your defense.:)

Didn't think I would let you get by did you?

I have a Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real Churchill in the humidor ready to go.

When I light it up after the UT win, it might just last me the rest of the season!

OpusX for me too.

The Cubans out of Canada Ive found to be somewhat stale.
The best cigar wisdom Ive ever heard was, "The best cigar in the world is the cigar you like the best, if it cost $10 or $100."

I shop at Leaf&Ale mostly but the cigar shop up in Gatlinburg seems to keep a better supply of OpusX.

Yea there is no way that I can finish a Churchill in one sitting. Winnie must have had an iron lung to have those named after him.

I've found myself a pretty big fan of Chateau Fuente cigars. I've got a few Arturo Fuente Double Chateau on hand, as well as some Ashton 8-9-8.

I'm sure they will bust out the Swishers. I don't think you can be a top-flight athlete and a cigar connoisseur at the same time.

PS- I always heard Churchill let the things burn without taking a puff. He'd also walk around with an unlit one quite often. Did the same thing with his cocktails; it gave his enemies a false sense of security in his apparrent foolishness.

Great man, that!
