What will CJC do to fix our broken rushing attack? Thinking he must change the blocking scheme to either zone or drive blocking and scrap the sprint draw as a failed blocking scheme to use in the SEC. Back to back seasons near the bottom in the nation prove what we did just didn't work. It worked fine for pass blocking but we just got stuffed behind the line of scrimmage and at the line of scrimmage way too much. While Poole didn't have the greatest field vision in the world it wasn't all on him. The addition of Jay Graham should help a great deal. I'm also wondering if CDD will move R. Neal back to RB to help shore up the rushing attack. And I think CDD must look within himself to find out why his players didn't play hard at times. It's his job to get the most out of the players he has and I think at times he didn't do that.

I think the running game will be better. Graham will not allow it to be anything but good.

Everyone keeps saying its wasnt all Poole that the running game sucked, but I think a lot of it was. His overall field vision was horrible, and he wouldn't run through people. It seemed the closer it got to the end of the season, he didn't want to get hurt or something.

Go back and watch some of the games. Poole is aweful. The line can take some of that blame too, but when you watch it a lot was on the shoulders of poole.

I think everyone overlooks one thing...the sophomore slump is commonly applied to the qb position. 80% of our oline were sophomores! I think that they were caught up in thinking too much and makes the whole offense suffer. Stone was a great freshman LEFT handed center. He was okay right-handed until he faced a SEC line at uf. Suddenly he sucks. How many of y'all have tried to switch hands to throw a ball. I am right handed...not bad snapping the ball in shotgun with my dominant hand...cannot imagine snapping left handed with a 300 lb dl getting ready to blow me up to then kill my qb or rb....

This year the line will look totally different than last year! Just wait, now the two deep will not have ANYONE that has not been here at least two years...CRM will start to show out with line power.

I would hope to see neal back at rb. His size and speed could be a huge differnce maker in the back field. I can see him looking like Monte Ball. Neal lane and smith 3 headed monster

We need a game braking RB, reevaluate our blocking schemes. Run blocking was an absolute failure.

How do you feel about Poole?

I expect no majors injuries. both D&O lines push.

UT wins 10 using the Hunter/Rogers show.

Hopefully the RBs not only hit the squat racks hard this summer, but learn how to fire into the gap, make a fast read and make good cuts. Maybe we'll run some off tackle runs and the offense gets into a rhythm. It would be nice to see some good screen and play actions that are well executed.

I would also like to see the QBs make faster reads and get their footwork a lot faster. Getting Hunter back and hopefully Rogers getting under control should help out a lot.

The defense I'm really excited about. If we get some more big bodies then we should be able to not only get better at stopping the run, but get a good pass rush. Our secondary should be significantly improved, as the LBs.

Special teams, i.e. the kicking game is still a ? though.

GO VOLS!!!

Until they decide to change the offensive philosophy there is not much to fix. They want to through the ball 80% of the time and average 75 - 80 yards per game on the ground.

Not what the fans want to see, but that is the scheme.

Yeah. That works great until 2 of the 3 players needed for the Hunter/Rodgers show get hurt like tis year. Could happen again very easily; especially at QB. We better have other weapons and a running game or we are toast and Dooley can get a ride from Mom back to Georgia.

The changes we should expect are a significant improvement in the wins column or a head coaching change.
