David Loggins - best friend played in a band with him in HS.
Steve Spurrier - Played against him in hs.
Frank Broyles - distant cousin - hatvol's favorite AD
VolFreak - The Grand Poobah - he doesn't have to be nice, but he is.
Have gotten several race car drivers autographs in addition to those above I spent some time with.

amazing Broyles. where do i even start??? just to mention a connection between us, i am friends with a family member of R Stanley. his nephew, i believe, James.

Well I've only talked to him once at the reunion since the fall of 89 I left town and shortly after he went to LA but he was always the lead in the plays so he pretty much had the acting bug for a while he broke his ankle during a pep rally during football season our senior year by getting it caught in the bleachers and the rest of the team behind him leaning forward on him (we were not very good) won one game that year against a team that did not win any.Also was a decent baseball player.

It's a story that Pat Sajak played Bozo the clown while working here in Nashville as a weatherman. I'm not sure if it's true or not being so long ago. He wrote some scripts for Creature Feature so he was trying branch out a bit I think.

Anyways, I forgot Mickey Mantle....he & my old man were sitting on the couch when I came home from school one day.

Update, got drunk with Doug Stone two nights ago. What a great guy! Oh yeah, Chris Cagle picked up our tab at Hooters a couple of months ago. He's funny as he*l.

musicians that some may know and some might not, Anthony B., Midnite, Morgan Heritage, buju banton, sizzla, these are all reggae folks, but have hung out with them and these are some of the most approachable international stars i have ever had the opportunity to meet.

a good friend of mine told me that his step dad, who was a limo driver, pulls into the driveway with Bill Cosby, one day, out of the blue. i would imagine that would be a similar feeling. i would have had Mickey autograph everything i could get my hands on. his autographs fetch a pretty good price.
