I want to get more into it. I played once. I think I had 107 total. I was averaging 200-220 yds off the tee. I sucked at chipping and was ok at putting. It was fun and I want to get better. I got a course that is 5 miles from my house.

Get the chipping down better and you can cut 10-15 strokes real quick. I'm not a huge hitter off the tee-220-230 or so. If you can hit it fairly straight off the tee, it's the shots in between that will kill you. I'm not great at anything but usually pretty steady. Usually mid 80's. Sometimes higher/sometimes lower. Most average golfers on a public course are shooting around 95-100 if they count all their strokes. I shot 38 on a local 9 hole course last week. Next time may be a 45.

Edit to correct earlier lie. If I hit my 5 iron solid, I'll get 170 yards or so. Nothing incredible.
