Looking for one or two long, time gobbling drives from the first string Offense in the first half that results in a TD.
It's something Heupel has said a few times that we need to be better at doing as the game situation dictates.
I’m guessing UTM comes in with their hair on fire. I worry about games like think. They are the best team the OVC. While I expect us to win, we may have to do more than we would like to have to do. Having said that, I have appreciated the way this team always is ready to play.
• Young guys getting a lot of reps
• Secondary continues to improve
• Hook and the 1st team play for a quarter
• Milton continuing to develop and play at a high level
• Health
• Clean game offensively and defensively build off the big win with no hangover
• Can Tennessee become more explosive
• The defense create turnovers
I want to see a lot of back up play. I want to see a ton of Joe Milton/Tayven Jackson. I want to see a bunch of Dylan Sampson running the ball. I want to see a lot from Squirrel White. I want to see Elijah Herring flying around, making tackles. I want to see Kaleb Webb playing. I want to see Addison Nichols playing. Etc.
I am excited to see Milton get a lot of playing time. He seemed to have taken some real steps in the Akron game towards bringing his reputed greatness in practice to the game field, and I want to see a solid half of that. I know it's just Martin, but still - time on the field should help him shake the game-day jitters or whatever has caused him to be so inaccurate in games compared to practice.
And I'm hoping to see the fans filling Neyland to show support for a team on the rise! GO VOLS!!!
Looking for a clean game that we win playing a lot of backups. Most importantly no injuries on either team. I am happy we get a break prior to Ky and GA and are able to help a little brother team.
