What are the travel rules?

What are the rules:

If a student is provided an athletic scholarship, can the University provide a travel allowance to return home to visit his family? I am wondering if this is a factor in a recruits decision. Can they fly his family to UT to watch games?

I thought it would be a violation. I am not that up to speed on the official student athlete rules.

I believe they are also allowed to buy the players family a house so they don't have to stay in hotel. Read it on a USC board so may not be true
