What are the chances AJ stay?

He has to realize he isn't quite a 1 day draft pick.

If he stays and works hard in the off season on his speed and footwork against the passing game, he could be a 1st round pick

I hope he does. Reeves-Maybin, Maggitt, Mouhon, & Bates alongside AJ sounds like a nice LB corps

I want all the juniors to stay so we can keep our depth issue under control. I know I know wishful thinking.

Add cam, McNeil, Coleman, toney, swafford, Arnold, Randolph, Jones, Kelly Jr. Fine some production on the d-line and our defense will be just fine next year! Go vols!

Yea, I don't see any of our juniors being day 1 picks, including tiny. At the beginning of the season I would of said different but now AJ is our best junior and he might be a late first rounder, but if he stays oh my, what LB core with depth, finally

Not sure why he's never flagged for his sideline neck tackle technique. That won't fly at all in the NFL.

I don't think he goes next year. If he doesn't we will have AJ, Maggitt, Bates, Weatherd, JRM, Mouhon. That's pretty dang good

I think maybe Toney and Arnold may be odd man out when we get some of these recruits in here. Swafford has surprised me. Just seems to be around the ball and make some plays. But yes, that list of LB's and DB's gets me pretty excited for the future.

I think he's too hype right now for the program and loves this team and staff. I think he stays stays, also, to play with Maggit again

I really like the guy because of his effort, I'm not convinced that he has NFL linebacker speed. Don't see him leaving early.

I don't see how he would be anything higher than a day 3 pick in the draft right now, so I don't know why he'd want to go. That said, I can't predict what our players are going to do. I didn't think Bray would be more than a Day 3 pick either and he was out the door as fast as possible.

he doesnt have NFL speed especially in pass coverage. but i think that the main reason he will stay is his relationship with maggit those two have a pretty great friendship so i think that he will stay

I think he stays like a lot of other people have said JRM, Maggitt, and Johnson would make a nice LB corp. With Athletes like JRM, Justin King playing LB there will be A LOT more speed on that level of the defense next year

I think he stays. Yes, he has the instincts and has a nose for the football, but he doesn't have NFL speed yet. I think 1 more year of developing could make him a NFL LB. Great run stopper, but so much more is asked of an NFL player. I hope he stays and develops one more year.

I hope he stays. The one area he needs to work on is pass coverage. He has good speed and excellent vision in run support. he stays his senior year he could easily go from a late second early third round to a first round pick.

This. His tackling is not good. He's a big guy and could lay some serious wood if he'd wrap up around their chest instead of their neck. I think it's caused him to lose some tackles this season.
