The attitude of Fischer and Doyle really stood out to me tonight. And I always love it when Tony sprints to the outfield to celebrate with the players.

I wanted to finish it last night but we turned a negative into a positive.
Tonight is exactly what this team needed. They found some juice to take to Fayetteville. Van Horn just had a panic attack with TV and the boys heading to town.

Agreed! Fischer, Manny DOYLE, emotions running high!
Arkansas is a very good team but I think we watched this version of Vol baseball find their identity last night and I saw a fire I haven’t seen all year, and that could be a very dangerous thing this time of year.
I was proud of how this team fought, proud to be hosting a regional as defending National champs, but this season just went to another level and became a hugely successful year!
Regardless of what happens next weekend, this is a huge building block and experience for the young guys that will be counted on to carry this program next year and beyond.
The freshman class has a chance to be very special, imo.
One thing for me that made this one even more special is how we've struggled so many games this year. We absolutely owned this one and straight out took it.
My memory will be when Fischer walks out the dugout with attitude , runner on base, bat in hand, just death staring down the Pitcher. Then he plants it somewhere over the right field fence. That's Alpha Dog!
