What an opposing coach says about the end of our year

It just never occurred to me to make something up, and then complain about the made up complaints.

For that, you get creativity points.

Probably would have helped your point of it being "made up" if the guy hadn't posted soon after you, boasting that he would have done exactly what Good-Oil suggested.
I respect your conclusion that Thunder's post is fictional but given the overwhelming amount of historical evidence supporting his thought (once again, including the guy proudly saying he would do exactly what Thunder suggested) I'm leaning towards supported educated guess with unbelievable circumstantial evidence.

The SEC has good coaches who understand the game of football better than 99.99 percents of the posters on this or any other board. The dozen or so negative posters on here and the trolls would have a tough time holding a little league practice if they were attempting to coach football. I have most of them on ignore and and I have again starting to enjoy this board. I have decided not to let them cast their doom and gloom on my University’s athletic program. If we ignore their trash they ill lose their ability to draw and dominate the attention of these boards. After all, in a recent poll on this board showed that over 80 % approved of what Coach Butch Jones was doing as our head coach. The negavols seem to have convinced the average fan to express their feelings for a change. The silent majority has finally spoken.
You're just soooo right that I'm tickled pink, V-in-V! Back in the days when GVX was 'bout the only show in town, about the same number of negas kept breathing all the oxygen. Because of the impressive number of replies they drew, however, John Adams, et al, gave them so much rope that what was once a viable, credible site, turned into a dumpster fire. As some things never change, it won't cease on VN nor anywhere else 'til the last humanoid's breathed the last breath of our race that some folks will stop claiming that their version of "being realistic" and "just being honest," and whatever other responses they give, are just inherent lies to themselves that they live in fear of failure and of appearing inferior to their peers. Thus, the only way they feel accepted is to have others agree with their pitiful litany of negative reasoning:cray:. I'd rather smile a lot. GBO!

Now. Here's the true story about team 120's 9-4 record and their NOT achieving the SECCG: Injuries. Got it? AMIRIGHT?

"The guy"?

It's making more sense now.

Lol WTF?

If me not saying 'Iknoxvols' by name (because I wasn't calling him out for having an opinion) has some kind of super secret double meaning, please, do tell.

I'm actually looking forward to this.

Accurate.
When giving an anonymous interview, the usual is to increase your school's chances in recruiting by questioning other coaches abilities and future.
Like the Haney blurb posted earlier. It's why most sites don't use such things and Haney was relieved after already receiving a mulligan.

The "having one another's back" other posters are referencing is common when the interview is not anonymous. It's kind of interesting to see positive remarks in a no names interview.

Either way, it's still 1 persons opinion but still interesting.

Could they be anonymous enough to not even be a coach?

Interesting as well.

Salt.

Oh.

Just wait, you don't need the lighter fluid for that one.

Never said anything about it being accurate or not, just don't see the relevance.

We have enough to complain about without making stuff up to complain about.👍

Validity to that, but I think his point was that complainers are going to complain regardless. And that's been proven time and time again.

Remember " if Jones beats Florida, I won't say another negative thing (or variations of), or " well sure we won, but not by enough" and one of my personal favorites, " we're not winning that game, we won? Well then obviously that team is trash".

Don't get me wrong, I want better and more. But it's not hard to spot people who are always going to complain and they are indeed real and not fictional.

In no way is this an insult, is there any chance you are drinking tonight?

No. Wondering now if that wasn't a mistake tho.

Oh, and at no point was "guy" in any way, shape or form meant to reference Chargervol.

I don't really disagree with this.

It is ironic though... the "complainers gonna complain" thing.

Negas and pumpers need each other.

Symbiotic relationship. Yin and yang. All that stuff.

The offense had losses as well. Seems like the starting O-line had to be reconfigured every week. Some guy named Hurd quit. 5-star WR quit too. Plus Dobbs was budgeting a lot of his time to do school stuff... nice to see that happen with college athletes these days.

Preston Williams had 9 receptions for 89 yards on the season when he left. His leaving was a non-issue in terms of what he brought to the offense. Jon Kelly stepped in and picked up Hurd's slack without issue. The oline has been a dumpster fire since CBJ got here, his retention of Mahoney is the reason for that, and he knew he was going to have to scheme and coach around it before the season even started. You act like Butch Jones isn't the head coach of the football team. His schemes. His assistant hires. His decisions. You can't attribute him all of his improvements without acknowledging his failures; it doesn't work that way.

All this.

If your gonna start a fire don't complain later if something else gets burnt.

One without the other would make for a rather boring, low post count, site.

Either way, thanks for taking your chances with this guy, things between us didn't seem too flammable. Lol.
