So just keep Pruitt until our recruiting classes are in the mid 40s and every season, beating Vandy to keep from being the worst team in the SEC is the norm?

Who said that either? I’m not pro Pruitt. I just know that UT isn’t going to fire him in 2020. And they will never hire Freeze so threads like this are dumb 😂

So if we can't fire him, because there are no coaches whom you deem acceptable, what is the third alternative to firing or retaining him?

Meyer didn't take the Texas offer, which I'm sure was multiple-millions more than we'd even think about offering, and with much better recruiting grounds. He's not coming to Tennessee.

Stoops hasn't seriously entertained any HC vacancies since he retired.

Who said we couldnt fire him? We could. I’m just stating he’s not going to be this year barring a huge scandal so it’s pointless to even complain about it in every thread. And it’s even dumber to pine for a coach who was 19-21 in the SEC and lost multiple times to Arkansas, Vandy, Memphis etc and claim he’s some kind of great coach

Yes and have one win over a losing VT team. That’s literally their highlight game. If UT played that schedule we would be undefeated. It means nothing

And why are you of all people defending his 19-21 SEC record where he underperformed and choked so many times in blowouts to lesser opponents. Because he had two fluke games against Bama? Because that’s literally all he had at Ole Miss

Texas likely offered Urban somewhere in the $10 million a year range and be said no. I am sure Stoops has been offered boat loads to comeback. If he didn’t take the UF job after WM and shark humper then he isn’t coming here.

You are pretending that he is beating teams like VT, Syracuse, and even the likes of WKU, with talent that is even remotely close to those teams; it's not.
