one reason i picked northern is because it's an hour and fifteen minute drive. my first time to see the vols play in knoxville was when they played niu. i've seem them play memphis two times. i've seen the basketball team once when they took the number one ranking from memphis.

Hahahaha, I had all my Illinois friends over to enjoy rubbing Bruce Pearl in all his glory in their faces. I on a daily basis argue about Bruce Pearl, and how great he is doing, and how bad Illinois basketball is currently doing. After that Memphis game they had zero credibility against Pearl, he clearly has done a better job than Champaign's lovely Bruce Webber....:sick: I gag when I say that name.

I love Alabama fans calling Tennessee fans Hillbilly. I am from the Midwest, and a non biased look is both at somewhat hillbilly, but Alabama is 30times worse, and yes I have been to K-ville, Memphis, and Birmingham....Tennessee has the friendly, happy go lucky "Hillbillies", while Alabama has those I played in dirt for fun, and started hunted as a child Hillbillies.

i like it a lot. you have altgeld hall which was the original entrance to campus. if you go here stevenson i believe is the only dorm with air conditioning, but they may have upgraded all the dorms with air. in holmes student center the heart of campus, they have a bowling alley subway, pizza place, tcf bank, the book store. there are buses for people who live in an apartment like myself. there are also buses that you can take to the dorms. the education program is pretty good here. heres altgeld.
