Apart from age, why not? At a comparable school, he was 7-3 against Alabama, 10-10 vs UGA/LSU. You wouldn’t take those results? Winning record against top 10 teams and bowl games. Heck of a coach and recruiter. Has NEVER been fired. He either got another job or resigned if he wasn’t doing a good job including AU. Imagine that, if coach doesn’t perform, accepts responsibility.
