These are very exciting times on Rocky Top. We have put together an all star cast of defensive coaches, especially if we get Garner. But what about the offense? Is CLK just that good? Has any one heard of any big name coaches on the offensive side of the ball we may be targeting?

Did you watch the Rose Bowl? Kiffin was the architect of that USC offense. I think he knows what he's doing.

CHANEY'S offense at Purdue:

1997: 13th passing, 7th total
1998: 7th passing, 16th total
1999: 4th passing, 8th total
2000: 6th passing, 4th total
2002: 31st passing, 7th total
2004: 4th passing, 13th total

enough said !!!!!!! :salute:

You gotta get what you can get while its available.

I agree. Lane is planning to get Gonzo after the NC game. Let's hope he gets he and Gran. Gran has a lot of ties in FL too. We need to steal all the players we can for UF. After all, until we beat them on a consistent basis. There will be no SEC championship games for us.

Seems interesting that we're after coaches from FL, GA, and Auburn doesn't it?

Some seem to think that Garner will wind up back on the offensive side of the ball.

Yeah pretty sure he will. We already have our Defensive Line coach, and he said he was comfortable on either side of the ball, so i look for him to do something on offense. Possibly running backs or o line.

It would be better for his resume and career if he did. I would venture to think he would be a RB coach or TE coach, although he would be natural as an O-Line coach. I do want to know where the hell Cregg is gonna be.

Chaney seems to be a pretty good coach.

The way I see it UT needs a good qb coach to develop BJ, and someone to call the plays. If LK can do both then he will be highly successfull at UT with the defensive coaches and recruiters that he has hired.
