if it's that simple and we don't do it, then the entire administration should be canned.

"Somebody's gonna have to go back to town and get a s____ load of dimes."
see post 34. I definitely like where your head is.

How about "boss, you use your tongue purtier than a 2 dollar whore" or something to that effect.

If we can't bring on Gruden, I want Spurrier. Can I get a harumph?

How about a Harpuke! Spurrier isn't the Darth visor we once knew and hated. His stent in the NFL hubbled him. Otherwise he would be going nutts in South Carolina by now. Give me sombody new, younger, and with fresh ideas...

Not to get off topic here but when I turned like 18 my dad was watching that movie, and I just thought it was some dumb movie from back in his day. I sat down and watched it and came out crying.

"I didn't get a Hurrrumph outta that guy"

I'm a sucker for downright slap-stick comedies.

it's one of the best of all time and very edgy, given its release date.

OHHHHH, the camptown ladies sing this song......

I don't think Tennessee is the place for someone who is trying to make their way to the big time. Tennessee is a place where someone that has served their tours and made their way up the ladder can bring all of their experience and lead a great program for ten years before retiring kicking a$$ the whole way. I could be wrong but I don't see it as a "young buck" kind of place.

that would be one helluva story and the ironies of all ironies should that pipedream ever become reality...
Lamarcus' "pipe" dream if you know what i mean. spurrier would probably do it, just to stick to the gator fans who have chosen to forget him.

Spurrier, I've said this somewhere before, is the type of guy that his ego is so big that he'd love to come to Tennessee. Turn things around and have fans that once hated his guts praising his every move. He'd be punking out Phil at the same time, and totally change his "legacy" around East Tennessee. You'd have your fans that still hated him, but I respect the guy. Even though it's like many have said a pipe dream, I would love to see it happen.

At the moment I can't think of any sports related or cultural related examples but maybe someone round here can.

How about Vince Lombardi being the coach of the Redskins?
