The Fulmer-haters got their way, and maybe it was time. But Gruden was untouchable... no way... no how... So in the interest of ???? the powers that be pushed to grab Kiff while he was available. What would have happened if we had held out for Chucky?? Would there have been 3 infractions reported in as many weeks? Just posing the question?http://www.volnation.com/forum/imag...volnation.com/forum/images/icons/football.gif

Gruden... not no but He11 No! Gruden has no patience and has no place in the college ranks. Some coaches are suited for college and some for the NFL and I am not convinced Gruden is capable at any level.

CLK is our guy now. He has a normal grace period. I could care less about secondary infractions or whomever toes he steps on. I look forward to spring practice...

Two clues:
1) No one gives a flying f about the "3 infractions"
2) No one gives a flying f about Gruden

s1216, I was mearly posing a question for a lively discussion.
SI has a rather large circulation for no one to care about the 3 infractions right out of the gate. They may not be a big deal, but the press as a whole has been looking for anything they can blow out about the program since Payton was still around. The last thing we need is to give them crap to throw at the fan.

With Gruden we would prolly have 8 secondary violations by now and half of the recruiting class. Give kiffin a chance I think you will be pleased with the on-field product.

I think we have another troll thread starter on our hands.

it's time to move on.. Kiffin is our coach for the next few years. If he has failed by 2012 then we can talk bout Gruden or whomever.

I'm in favor of a minimum post count AND a scoring system to be able to start new threads. This is getting ridiculous.

I completely agree with the above comment. Since NSD this is beginning to get rediculous. Half the time I spend on here I'm sorting through all the B.S. troll postings. I never thought I'd say it, but if something doesn't stop, I may have to go to a pay site. I just don't have the time or energy to deal with these stupid Bammers or Gators.

Agree with post count, but scoring system is pretty subjective. What one finds as a good post others find as ridiculous. Hard to score style points.

Fair enough, but minimum post count should be enough to ensure these jokers can't get to it in a day.

What would be fitting is rating newbie posts the same way they b*tch about CLK's recruiting infractions. Some morons could rack up way more than 3 secondary posting infractions in just a matter of hours.

That would definitely serve as an ironic cup of STFU.
