If the Big Orange pulls off a miracle against Bama, you all realize that probably means Fulmer stays. As much as I want our guys to beat the Tide, I am not sure I want to go through the misery that is Fulmer for 3, 4, 5 years or even longer. To me, it is a double edge sword.

to even hint that you would rather lose to alabama saturday than win is grounds for your fanship being revoked.

Win or lose Saturday I think Fulmer is gone at years end. There is too much program damage and I don't think Fulmer can stop the sinking ship. Hamilton knows a coaching change has to be made for the sake of the program.

A win Saturday means...

1. Sometime in the middle of the 4th quarter pigs started growing wings.

2. All the stuff at the end of 'Knights in White Satin' has happened.

3. Hell will have a freeze warning Saturday night.

I still hope against all hope we win, I'll be there, but I live in the real world. It's time for a change. I hope Coach Fulmer acts with class and does whats best for the program.

You also have to think. We have the 7th best recruiting class in the nation so far. If Fulmer is let go, a lot of our recruits will go. I don't think fulmer is going anywhere right now.

I still fail to see how Vol fans can ever view a win over bammer as a negative. It is absolutely ridiculous

A win will be a huge boost to the team. Bama is #2 in the nation. We are not. So, of course the win would change things.

A win over bama means I won't have to hear about it for the next year from my bama-fan coworkers.

GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am w/ you on this, I cant see how even the smallest UT fan can want us to lose against our most hated rival. Go VOLS beat bama.

What difference does it make how great the recruiting class is when he can't do anything with their talent?

It would be nice for that to happen. However if fulmer wins out its 8-4 and a raise and an extension. Even at 7-5 he might be able to stay.

7-5 gets UT a crappy bowl game that we probably win. That would make 8 wins and an extension and raise.

Even if a loss to bama would automatically mean the end of the Fulmer era, there is no way in this world that I would pull for bama to beat UT.

We should not even have this discussion. Tennessee is not going to beat Alabama. Fulmer NEVER beats top 10 teams. Also, there is no way he is going to out coach Saban.

it's going to happen whether we pull for it or not. all this stuff about rooting for or against a team is meaningless.
