You can't justify what these young men did. They were out too late, drugs in car, and had a weapon. They are lucky they didn't approach someone with a gun or someone would be dead. I hope they become good citizens and good fathers but I don't think it will be on the hill.

I speak up and stand up by my convictions in Christ Jesus! I am not the one to set the example of Christian, that is Jesus Christ's Job! But chumps like you don't read the Bible! Lofton himself is proof that you should trust Jesus and not fans! When he was fighting cancer and struggling on the court, the fans was tearing him up but when we ALL found out the truth! Imagine that, passing judgement on aperson without knowing the truth? Lofton4three shooting bricks now!

What am I wrong about? What am I in denial of?

I don't go to church nor do claim to be a christian and live by their values. Therefor I cannot be a hypocrite when I do unchristian like things (like passing judgement on others) because I don't claim to be one.

You come to a message board and take quite the condescending tone. Then you cast stones from your pulpit calling people chumps and punks?

Your overall tone reeks of hatred and contempt for others. Way to spread the message by ending up on people's ignore list. I can't speak for anyone else, but I discount anything else you have to say.

This thread is part of the reason that people look at Christians condescendingly. It's not until something bad happens that some people decide to put on their robes and grab their bibles and decide to call others out.

Janzen Jackson and Mike Edwards give their life back to Christ and peopel call it a host or last ditch effort to get back on the field. They went to the only person who would not judge them and write them off as thugs or failures, Jesus! A lot but not all have called them failures for throwing their lives away but they haven't been convicted and if they are, they will still have a chance to bounce back because their life will be effected forever but will not be over for 2 minutes of stupidity.

If you cannot read and comprehend my posts how can you do so with the bible. I never said I didn't believe in God and what makes you think I don't know the bible.....do you know me? Since you do I guess you know I went to church most of my life and only quit after my fiance, the mother of my son died 10 years ago when he was 18 months old. I'll admit I lost whatever faith I had after that and "pastors" like you do nothing to help me restore my faith.

The way I jump judgment on you is the way people jump the judgment on the three. You said in your initial post I was a convieient Christian that breaks all commandments but judge everyone else. You don't know me like I don't know you but if you criticize or down someone faith they are committed to, you gonna get their ugly side. You said you had no relationship or practice Biblical things, I didn't. Please read the thread "My apologies" we don't know each other so I gonna say this, God makes no mistakes and all He does is to strengthen us. Your wife has passed but you have a child to nurture and raise. If you will, read Psalms 116:15 and Romans 8:28 as well as Phil. 1:21. When I had to bury my father, 2 grandmothers, uncle and aunt, those helped. The reason all this came out is because people speak on facts but not the truth! I know we started out rocky but hit me on the private message if you need someone with a renewed perspective to talk to.
