Gruden, Jones, Kendrick and Currie. Things sure are a mess on the hill.

The more this plays out the less I believe that our athletic department has a plan. Seems like we are 100% reactionary with every situation.

UT AD not sharing the same feelings as Volnation...........good. Calmer heads will always prevail. I would be willing to say, that Currie and the other leaders at UT are looking at the lessons learned from previous coaches. It is always easier to be negative than positive and blogs are notorious for being reactionary and emotionally immature. The AD will look at the big picture. I believe that CBJ has done more than the previous 3 coaches put together in the past 10 years..........jmo.

I am one Vol that would rather keep CBJ, I might be a minority here, but I think many Vol Fans outside Volnation feel the same way I do. Give him next year to prove this was a fluke.

You mean losing to USCe twice in 2 years, struggling against app state, and losing to Kentucky isn’t enough?

And this is exactly why none of your players get any better Lyle. You’re too busy playing on volnation and clearly don’t spend enough time developing players and learning the basics of game day coaching.

I would be curious to know, after watching our Vols look like a dysfunctional peewee team for years, what gives you a sign that he has the ability to turn this around? I'm not arguing, sincerely curious, because I've seen nothing that suggests he and his scheme aren't simple losers.

Tell me why he needs another year in your opinion. Are you ok with his previous 9-4 seasons?

5 years isn’t a fluke. That is a body of work.

You THINK you might be in the minority?

There are more California condors in the wild than there are UT fans in your corner.

This is UT, not Vandy. We do not accept mediocrity.

He can't coach. He can't develop. He can't get an identity on offense. He never has a game plan. He can't get his playmakers on the field. He can't adjust during the game. His time management is the absolute worst that I have ever seen in 44 years. He doesn't have a clue. He only allows a nickel on defense. He doesn't know to not be in the shotgun on the 1 yard line. What makes you want him back for another year? I can't wait to read your answer.

Maybe the OP is right. Butch said that it takes 7 years to turn a program around.

Personally I been done and ready for a new coach since he threw Peterman to the Gators his freshman year.

He had a o-line full of pros, and would not play to his strengths. Recruits like Tarzan develops like Jane.

This has been going on for a long time. You can't be watching the same football that I'm watching. I can't wait to read your reply. Also, his time management is the worst I have ever seen. He calls timeout for the other teams many times.

Very few feel the way you do. I guess it's easier for you to not notice the sh!t show on display every Saturday. Bury your head in the sand so you don't have to actually admit that your hero can't coach on game day and hope the admin will operate in a 'business as usual' fashion so things will remain just as you like..

As for me and most other Vols fans, we will continue to hope (at least for a little while longer) Currie has an actual plan and things change on the hill..

You are right he has.

First time allowing an opponent to come back from 17 point deficit at home to win.

Most rushing yards allowed in 121 years.

Worst home loss in over 100 years.

Next record he is going for, 1st 8 (or more) losses in a season, ever.

PS. have you seen the way Butch coaches in any of the games...:)

GO VOLS!
