Could be best over DL in the country next year...

Two Biggest quaestion marks are Left Tackle and Safety next to TKjr. Berry is presumed but he really struggled early this year. He is certainly more than talented enough though. Don't sleep on stephen griffin or Nigel Warrior id he signs here.

If a freshman or newcomer is going to make an impact on the team watch the Secondary or maybe Jeff George at WR.

I like Hall starting a LT because of the reps he has gotten this year. Very impressed with the way Hall stepped in and pushed defenders around. Richmond to RT if he can beat out Kendrick. Thoughts?

Richmond has already been declared the LT next year. Its why they moved Chance to RT.

Good list. Some corrections:

(1) I'd hold off on anointing North a #1 receiver. If he's back 100% healthy next year, that will simply be a pleasant surprise. Right now, I'd consider Josh Malone our #1 receiver. Malone, Smith, and Jennings may be our top 3.

(2) Seems like Dontavius Blair is a bust. If he cracks the 2-deep next season, that would be yet another welcome surprise.

(3) Don't forget Darrell Taylor. He could play at DE or maybe OLB. He'll be a RS Freshman. IMO, it's more likely you'll see him emerge next year than Butcher.

(4) Also should add Jakob Johnson at TE.

The secondary is going to be the one area of concern next season, as we'll likely lose a lot of top guys, including Cam Sutton, LaDarrell McNeil, and Brian Randolph. That's particularly going to hurt us against Virginia Tech (with new coach Justin Fuente being an air raid guy) and Texas A&M.

IMO, the plan has to be moving Jennings to S. He's played OK at WR but he is a great open field tackler on ST's. If they don't move him then UT will be extraordinarily thin at S. Three guys will have to play almost all the reps unless a Fr plays.

My biggest concerns will be TE2 and the whole secondary.

TKJ will be solid but I agree the lack of depth at safety is concerning. Players will transfer out and injures will occur. A healthy Tennessee team will have a great year. I am shocked that Dobbs made it through the entire season without sustaining a major injury.

Hopefully Butch is recruiting kickers, at least to have some competition to push Medley to improve his accuracy

Tennessee is very high on Sheriron Jones. Spring will be interesting.

Joe Stocstill will be 2nd team TE for his blocking. Jakob Johnson is likely ahead of Creamer. Pope really needs to redshirt.

Will O'Brien make through the summer without problems?

History says several listed won't be here.

Keep in mind that some of the freshmen may change positions...having seen the tackles on the kickoff team that Jennings made this year, he could be a Deon Grant type safety...he's a super athlete and could play just about every position except the line...never know...also wouldn't surprise me to see one of the freshmen RBs do some work as a safety/LB...again, those guys are super athletes and you never know who we will sign next February...

Will be an interesting spring...

I like Jones to start on the o-line, and JRM & Cam to come back. I agree with earlier post saying it's too early to speculate. Between attrition, incoming recruits, camp surprises...etc, there's just no way to tell. I'm just looking forward to seeing next year's D on the field. They have the makings of something great !
