No doubt. Killed any shot we had in the first quarter..

it was 17-7 at halftime and UT had the ball to start the 2nd half after just going on a long drive. The points JG gave gifted UK were helpful, but UK still outscored UT 17-0 in the 2nd half.

Its hard to be confident with a shaky O line and a depleted team period.. Lexington at night they will be fired up and our defense will have to perform MUCH better than the ole miss game IMO and our offense has to have HH healthy entire game.. Its clear our "other" QB is out of it so while i will be screaming and yelling at my tv for my beloved VOLS to destroy the kitty kats I dont feel great about the game especially with the coming off a loss

All we have to do is stop the run on them. We will score 38 plus. If we make them one dimensional we stomp them.

Their only offensive touchdown against Miss St came in garbage time. Will Rogers was 36/39 for 344 yds. They’ll need to make some major adjustments if they want to contain our offense.
Their O isn't very good. UT is good defensively in some ways... but terrible in other ways. If they can fix the QB run stuff then UT has a really, really good chance of winning this game.

SEC Ranking:

UT
Total O- 5th
Scoring O- 4th
Rushing O- 4th
Passing O- 8th

Total D- 10th
Scoring D- 10th
Rushing D- 7th
Passing D- 13th

*** It is worth mentioning that UT has played all 3 of the SEC's top offenses. UK has played only UF who has declined since week 3.

UK
Total O- 12th
Scoring O- 12th
Rushing O- 8th
Passing O- 13th

Total D- 6th
Scoring D- 5th
Rushing D- 4th
Passing D- 8th

The teams have 3 common opponents.

UF- UT produced 423 yds of O and allowed 505; UK produced 224 and allowed 382
MU- UT produced 683 and allowed 396; UK produced 520 and allowed 398
USCe- UT produced 472 and allowed 370; UK produced 332 and allowed 216

Obviously lots of caveats to the stats but the general theme is that UT can produce a lot more O while UK has successfully slowed the pace and played better D.... though a lot of USCe and MU's yardage vs the Vols was after the games were decided.

Would you feel better about our chances if Kentucky beat MISS ST by 14? I wouldn't feel better.

Stylistically it’s a bad matchup for Kentucky’s defense at the pace that we run plays. I feel very confident about this game. I think we win by two touchdowns.

If we execute and don't kill ourselves with penalties and turnovers, we win. Especially if we come out firing in the first quarter, which is our MO.

I always call it like i see it and will tell you when i think Tn will lose. I selected yes, they will be victorious! Going to be a tight game

Heupel will do what Leach did to wear down their defense.

They’re terrible when they’re out in space.

UT - 45
UK - 31

I feel good about our offense, especially since we are seemingly healthy on offense now. I think we can get the W.

Curious where Volnation stands on this Saturday’s game in Lexington. Win or loss?

Take off your orange tinted shades and share what you think the outcome will be if you had to bet your bank account on it.

If you’re so inclined, share why you voted the way you did.
I don't think we sneak out I think we will win pretty comfortably. Last 2 teams we faced had the firepower to match us score for score. I don't think KY can

We also have this going for us. QB stat comparison between Hooker and Levis. I like our chances if we make Levis a passer and keep him in check as a runner.

That is the only part that makes me nervous. We have not been effective at stopping QB runs this year. I haven't watched enough of Levis to know what he can do on the ground but 3.5 per rush is a decent number for a QB.
