Has anyone else watched this? I can't figure out why the whalers just don't come out with AK's or grenade launchers and send the eco-terrorists to the bottom of the deep blue sea.

I have seen a few of the episodes, and it just astounds me how stupid these people are. I agree bill, I know of a few ways to rid the waters of these bozos.

One episode one of the jap ships caught a whale while the boat was right next to them, the captain (who needs his tail kicked) started crying and tried to ram the ship. hahaha, I mean really? They are whales, they are being used for food. People gotta eat.

I've watched one episode. The way these people act makes me sick. It just seems there are more important things to worry about instead of crying over whale blubber.

I don't agree with whaling. Not needed in today's modern society.

However, the eco-terrorists are committing what amounts to acts of piracy. The whalers have every right to use deadly force. I am in your corner. Why don't the whalers respond with deadly force?

I don't understand why whaling can't be allowed on a internationally controlled level for those that want to eat it. What's wrong with it if you aren't overfishing and endangering the species?

That's the problem. Whales have already been overfished and endangered.

Just to clarify, my thoughts weren't for or against whaling but rather the Barney Fife's throwing acid bombs and ramming ships. I think it's incredibly arrogant and they deserve whatever comes their way.

The Japanese have been using water cannons and LRAD acoustic weapons. The acoustic weapons cause serious disorientation. They almost downed the helicopter from the Steve Irwin.

Captain Watson said that the Steve Irwin became difficult to control under a barrage of metal objects, blasts from the water cannons, and the disorientation caused by the LRAD acoustic weapons that the whalers were using on the conservationists.

“I was dazed by the sonic blasts being used on us at close range.” said Captain Watson. “I have to admit it was difficult to concentrate with that devise being focused on us.”

“I’ve never felt anything quite like it,” said Emily Hunter from Toronto, Canada. “It penetrates the body and you can feel your muscles vibrating. It made me dizzy and left me somewhat dazed.”

There was one where they sent out a smaller boat an boarded one of the whaling ships to deliever a letter, once the Japanese fishermen saq this they put them in handcuffs and the fat guy from the eco boat sent out a message to the media saying they kidnapped some of their crew.

You have got to be kidding me

They suck at ship management. Its horrid. What do you expect when a bunch of hippies try to run a ship? Mr. Watson is just dangerous and I don't think he knows how to properly navigate a ship. THEY COLLIDED INTO A FRICKING SHIP. They then acted like it was a victory.

Their efforts were so bad, the whalers end up killing whales in front of them. Massive pwn. I hate killing whales and all...but... I LOL'd.

Love the show. It's a train wreck comedy show every time.

Paul Watson was one of the founding members of Green Peace. They kicked him out for being too violent. He's a complete moron who has somehow found people that take an oath that they are willing to die to save a whale. That's a recipie for pure comedy right there.

Almost as laughable as him claiming the Japanese whalers shot him in the 1st season. Was so bogus.

I find myself cheering for the Japanese whalers.

I also would think that Steve Irwin, while probably against whaling, would not want his name used in this way.

Unfortunately, I don't think Steve cares.

that is exactly what i thought the first and only time i watched whale wars. all i could think about was why the japanese didn't just pull out a sniper rifle and pull the trigger.

by the way, I will never watch another minute of that show again.
