Maybe Trump's smartest decision to date is to skip the White House Correspondents' Dinner. Trump will be the first president to miss it since 1981 when Reagan missed while recovering from the assassination attempt. Reagan did make comments over the phone.

Trump would have come across as the biggest fool and hypocrite to ever grace the stage had he accepted. His puppet masters made the correct call on this one. It will however, deny us a historic night of comedic relief.
