Why are you so sure? Fulmer has not had any AD experience. This is a BIG time step for Phil. I think he will be in way over his head.

Blackburn has the experience and the credentials to take over. But he isnt even being considered. That should tell you something.

Phil just cost us the hiring of a coach that 90% of us were finally happy about when we went to bed last night.

Then by decapitating Currie, UT has another 5.4 mil owed to him.

All because Philip Fulmer coveted the AD job and saw an opportunity to grab it in the midst of all the turmoil making things even worse.

My vote would go to David Blackburn overwhelmingly now after this went down.

Until they clean house, David can only do so much. This has turned into a nightmare. One I have been hoping wouldn't come true. If you have a kid at UT, tell them to come home this weekend or get off campus. At least stay in the dorms. Some cops are going to get overtime pay this weekend. Be cool.

Well it looks like its too late, UT has already gone down this road. CBS Sports is reporting it as done. Poor decision IMO, to do it so quickly, but desperation took over i guess.

He will certainly have a better chance of it than any of the last three idiots in the job.

Maybe, one of the qualities for being an AD should be actually having experience as a former coach. Actually, how does one identify a quality coach if you have never been one? I know the past 20 years without that experience has screwed us.
