We never player bad all of last year. The games we lost we made mistakes and were outmanned in some areas. But we were good enough to be in atl. No way we beat anyone with a running game and equal talent. They don't know how to use Dobbs!!

No. Just no. We weren't playing cupcake U, folks. Anyone who thought it would be a blowout was in a dream world. App State is a fine football program. We are lucky to get the win but it's not like we were playing Tennessee Tech tonight.

Finally, somebody with some sense. How do you do, sir?

We played pretty bad in the Arkansas game imo. This bad? No. But it was still bad. Hell, North Texas was honestly pretty ugly for a 24-0 win.

You can't appreciate now poor the performance was, at all?

We WON, a win is never a poor performance. We did not play as well as we could, but we still won. You thank candy would take that poor performance as a win instead of their poor performance and loss last night. Bet they would go for the win. Bet any team that losses this weekend, even with a tremendous effort, would trade for our win.

I get your point but this App st team had no business being in this game in the second half, much less a FG away from beating us in our own house. There is no way anyone could have logically thought App st would have played us that tough. Sorry but you are wrong.

Team 120 spent 7 months getting sunshine pumped up their ass. I appreciate appy state waking them the eff up.

But did Appy State wake em up or did they expose them?? I don't think we know yet.

Okay, you are a serious, somewhat sane poster so while we "can't know yet", which way are you leaning? I'd be very disappointed if this wasn't a wake up call. I'm at a loss to otherwise explain why a really good team from last year, almost entirely in tack, and generally thought to be populated with young men of good character, would lay such a rotten egg - even in a win.

Butch let them get the big head. They aren't hungry anymore. They acted like it was 1995-1999. But this team has no history of winning big. 1 dang 6 game run with one quality win. The 13 points Appy barely gave up and missed fg plus lucky fumble recovery by us shows this team isn't ready. We know unless Dobbs runs a lot we can't score. The offense is predicated on a versatile qb. If he won't run as much and won't throw better then season is over. Remember last year the team was only good for 2 td a game against good teams. UGA and UF are hungry and ready to prove themselves.
