That some of us believe would be good hires, if Dooley is not retained. One name that I have not seen mentioned or discussed very much is Bo Pelini. The guy has helped to bring Nebraska back to the national spotlight, and has had several AA's on defense.

So, if we do go down the coaching search path, would Pelini make your short list of coaches you would contact??

The coach who just gave up 63 to Ohio State??? No thanks

Chavis is arguably one of the best DC's in the game, and Meyer put up 59 on us at one point. Meyer is an offensive genius, and it was obvious Nebraska's defense didn't have their best day on the road.

Those 4 points could've been huge though lol

9-6.

And his stud Taylor Martinez cried on the sidelines.

But y'all go ahead and think he's the answer to your prayers.

A program that hires anyone named Pelini deserves what they get, which is garbage.

They're both garbage.
They're both ass hats.
And they're both losers.

I never would have guessed this thread would exist here.

Isn't Nebraska Pellini's dream job? I thought he had a bunch of ties to Nebraska and that's why he jumped on the opportunity when he left LSU.

He's 43-18 as a HC. Hothead or not, that's a pretty good record.

Sigh. Against the Big 12.

In some ways, I hope ignorant fans like you get your wish. They fire Dooley who is doing a hell of job turning this dumpster fire around and start all over (with all the downfall that go with that) with a guy you are slobbering all over because he happens to have decent record in terrible conference.

Wonderful logic.

I cannot figure out if your posts are just an act now, or if you really are this ignorant.

Dooley was 17-20 against mostly WAC teams before he came to UT. The "against" logic you're using here doesn't work well in your favor.
