Love Central and the Commissary, but I’ll always have a soft spot for Corky’s on Poplar - mainly because of their onion loaf.

That onion loaf is really good, no doubt. It's tough to call one place because each place has one thing they do better than others

Commissary is my go-to now, largely because I can jog to the Collierville location from my house.

They still have original location in Germantown in the tiny building. They have a new, larger location at Poplar and Houston Levee right across the Germantown/Collierville border.

The original is better.

Their bar staff was always great. I’d wait there for my to-go order to come up, Just enough time for two bourbons on the rocks. Very handy when visiting my mom.
