West Virginia interested in future games

Conversely TN should wait until the results of that game to commit to further contests. See our stellar performances against teams such as Ok. and Kansas State. If WV wins by 50 we don't need to be taking that beating on a regular basis. "All comers" sounds great until you can't beat any of the good ones.

That's the spirit.

Battle at Bristol sucked, 140 bucks a ticket to ultimately watch the game on the jumbo tron. Home and Home if anything
You knew before you got tickets that this was not Neyland Stadium lower level tickets...it’s a 1/2 mile race track. Should we play a ton of games there? No but once every 5-7 years for a quality opponent I would definitely go. Play ACC schools like Clemson, VT or UNC that we are close to but never play.

Lol you got screwed. I got tix off a scalper on the 30 yard line 42 rows up for 75$ a piece. Could see the field ok. If you were in one of the turns you might as well of stayed at home and watched it on tv though.

You both got robbed lol...My brother bought 4 tickets on the 20 for $30.00 apiece

I vote home and home. Tired of these neutral site games. Would love to go to Morgantown for a game and get cursed at.

I am to the point I agree. Though I am all for the neutral site payday the University receives, they want to improve the stadium by eliminating seats and adding stuff I would never care about. And the costs to the fans just keeps going up.

So, I would roll to Morgantown. I am sure we can adequately curse them right back.

As much as I love college football and tailgating, I wouldn't be upset if the Battle at Bristol was just a one-time thing.

I agree, and as much fun as I had, if they did it again I’d not go because of the hassle of it all and how hard it was to see, even with “Colossus” and good seats

About 20-30 schools that I would rather play home and away than West Virginia. To me, this is not a compelling match-up in any way.

it's fun going to other schools. I'm sure Morgantown has liquor just like anyplace else.

Yes please. Would be the closest Vol game I ever get to go to. Ninety minute drIve compared to 6 hours. Granted, games in Morgantown suck for opposing teams. Biggest ******* home crowd known to college sports!!

From the sound of it, it sucks for the home team too.

Let's play a game in Mexico. I'm sure the Volunteers are pretty popular there...or so says General Antonio de Lopez Santa Anna!

I would enjoy seeing UT play WVU in basketball as a matchup of tough defenses and Huggins against Barnes in a very good coaching challenge. Maybe they will play in next season's SEC/Big 12 challenge in Morgantown.

I agree with those about having home and home game with them. Let's not do Bristol again and take away its shimmer.

Tennessee Volunt-eers vs. WV Mountain-eers.
It's the Battle of the Eers!

As we have the Davey Crockett mascot with the buckskins and musket rifle, and theirs is so similar a mountaineer in buckskins and a musket rifle there's gotta be a way to play that up as bragging rights. Maybe some kind of figurine trophy or something the winner gets the trophy for that year.

Hell with that Bristol crap. I will never go there again. The traffic was hell getting in and getting out. Home and Home would be cool its nothing like going on the road to different stadiums and environments

I’m not anti-neutral site, but I just think the on campus tradtitions and experiences are better than something at Jerry’s World or Atlanta.
