West to East Traveling Factor

If they get into Knoxville at midnight, that would be 9:00 pm their time. Say they are in bed an hour and a half later, that's 10:30 pm their time. Then they wake up at noon on Saturday, which is 9:00 am their time. Then they have seven and a half hours to prepare for a ballgame which occurs at 4:30 pm their time.

Other than the actual travel, I don't really see a big deal here for the Ducks.

I would think the going to bed thing would be an issue. I heard they were leaving in the evening, say they get here at 8pm. Try going to be by 10 after a long flight which is really 7pm on the internal clock, restlessness sets in and makes for a bad night of sleep. Then wake by 8 the next morning, which is really 5 on the internal clock for a 7pm game...makes for a long day.

Not to mention the toll flying takes on a body, I don't care how good of shape you are in. I'm in great shape and it effs me up for a day or two!!

They'll probably just stay on Pacific time. What would be the issue with that?

This is the type of actions I was thinking of when I said Kelly will keep them on time. I should have expressed them more to get my point across, thanks....that helps.

I don't see them changing their watches period, this gametime plays perfectly for them to be comfortable and not worry about the actual time. We have all day to prepare and play this game. Why do we have to be up at 8 eastern time for a game to be played 11.5 hours later?
that last part was in response to someone else....

I am currently living in AZ and every time I come home to visit the fam in Chatt town I give myself a day for each hour difference to adjust from the jet lag. That is a three hour difference, so I would say it does factor in somewhat. JMO

Do you fly first class where you aren't cramped? These boys won't be flying coach......

It should be a cake walk. Nothing could possibly go wrong. I wouldn't even think twice about it. You guys are golden. There's no conceivable way this plan could backfire. See you in Knoxville! :)

Do you fly coach? Do you fly on a private plane with big cush seats?

You said you go to visit, that is different then flying in for 24 hours imo. Maybe it's just me but I don't have jet lag after a few hour flight, I am sore from being cramped in coach because I am a fairly big guy but they won't have those problems.
