It implies that Kiffin is so dumb that he would sell a talking dog just b/c it lies to him. That's all I've got as to why it might be offensive.

My preacher actually told the same joke (sans Kiffin) a few months ago, and his jokes are notoriously bad. Him and West must buy the same joke book.

SMOKEY is gonna talk to Tommy tomorrow night & that dog (nor the scoreboard) is gonna lie. Probably the last time we will be facing him as a head coach.

I go to most of the Memphis games and they are a really bad football team. Tommy West needs to worry about his ass being in the unemployment line here in a few weeks.

Well it just comes to show how loyal this team is to CLK. Someone is talkin smack about their coach, and the players are fired up, that shows dedication and loyalty to their program, i feel sorry for Memphis come saturday. This could get ugly, yet oh so beautiful

I can't believe I wasted the time to find and read that joke.

A dumb one-liner would be better as it would have wasted less time.

I'd be pissed if I was on the team, too, especially if they've felt compelled to read that more than once.

How is it anti-Kiffin? Why was Kiffin used in the joke? I heard that before but never with a name attached to the owner of the dog. Dumb...........

The morale of the story is, if you're gonna be Kiffin's dog then runnin' off at the mouth just ain't gonna cut it.
