Wes has been dead on with predicting UT's win total for 5 years straight. He knows this program very well, and has an unbiased view. Gonna be a close game.

considering they have been 5-7ish for the last 5 years that isn't saying much, I would venture to say that he predicted right around that total this year and will probably be right again.

What did he have to say about his beard and how much he thinks of himself?
I know he talked about it. He always does.

He's predicted Florida to win the past few years including the year we had CP and everyone was expecting an upset. His logic is...until UT wins, why pick them.. and it's worked. I personally think we win this year and win big. But there isn't much wrong with his logic here.

I've never understood the hate for Wes on this website. Is it because he gives unbiased opinions?

If you've never followed him on Twitter, you wouldn't understand.

He's a pompous ass. He's the Derek Dooley of beat writers.

He acts like he's a hot shot reporter, but his writing is amateurish. Read virtually any article written by him and you'll find cliches, typos, poor phrasing, etc.

I follow him and twitter and don't mind him at all. He gives an honest opinion and is, more than often, correct.

I don't have a problem with his opinions. He's entitled to those.

And maybe he stopped doing this, but he used to frequently engage in ****-talking with his followers/Tennessee fans and insult them. It was incredibly unprofessional behavior for a reporter.

I'm pretty sure he thought he had a shot at becoming the next Clay Travis or something.
