Were you born into this or did you just decide to pick Tennessee

Born into it. Grew up in Chattanooga and have followed them for a long time. Old enough to remember an Astro Blue Bonnet Bowl sticker I had in my room.

sometime in late 40's or 1950 I attended the Knoxville Hi vs. Central Hi football game which was played in the UT stadium (no Neyland then). Then along then came the 1951 National Champions and I thought everybody had a Hank Lauricella in their backfield. I didn't expect UT to lose to anyone! I have had high expectations since!

Born into it. My parents graduated from UT in 1951. My dad worked in transportation and had 8 season tickets between the 20 and 30. My grandparents lived in Knoxville and there were many times us kids stayed at my grannies’ house while mom and dad went to the game. We usually got to go to one game a year and I was probably 8 or 9 before I figured out we played other teams besides Vandy and Kentucky! 😂

Born and raised. Bleed Orange. Been going to games since as far back as I can remember (early 80s). So many fond memories spent in Neyland with my Dad. My parents used to take me and my brothers down to the Taproom on the strip and meet up with my Aunt and Uncle where all their friends would pregame lol. Great times back in the 80s and 90s. Now I'm taking my wife and kids to games. Telling them stories of the good ole days. Being a diehard Vols fan is all I've ever known. GBO!!!

My granddad had a Vols baseball cap, but never saw him watch a game, nor did my dad. My grandmother watched a few and was a huge Peyton fan, but I definitely wouldn't say I was raised a Vols fan. I grew up in Northwest TN and just picked the home state school. It was an easy choice for me because I grew up in the 80s/90s.
