We're Weak

If a 3 loss SEC team makes it into a BCS bowl game, regardless if it is us or not, the media will have a field day with it. Either way the SEC needs to show up in our bowl games so our beating up on each other won't make us look weak.

I think that is part of what is making many of us feel badly about this year. Typically, the SEC is the most bada$$ conference year in and year out. We beat up[ on each other but top to bottom we beat the other conferences hands down. This year we seem to have lost some of that swagger. The fact is that there are no consistently dominant teams in SECe. Even in the west LSU is the only team that is close to what we usually see out of three or four teams in the SEC. So because there no other teams that have stepped up in the east, we have just as much claim to be in SEC final as anyone else. We have shown flashes of playing really well. Let's hope we can get on a roll and win out.

Chavis certainly is one of the problems. But it's a bit unfair to call him the "only" problem, IMO.

there's also Slade who is the biggest problem imo. I know he's generally an offense guy, but I would love to see what Troop could do with the db's.
