And just now some broad on ESPN claims that #10 Dayton and #11 are the Cinderella stories of the Sweet 16. Why isn't #11 Tennessee in that sentence?

Because we just beat the Bear scat out of "Cinderella" on Sunday.

A lot of wins against bad or so so competition and I have yet to be convinced that Martin is great at anything. Michigan is an entirely different animal than what we've been feasting upon. For now, though, I'll just enjoy the ride and good fortune.

I know I know, and if we beat the S&$#T out of Michigan you'll say that they didn't have their true center so they were a weak team as well.

And so on and so forth...... Teams is playing lights out right now and the only team we've lost to recently is the #1 overall seed in the tournament and you still find a way to see how this team isn't good and the staff isn't good either.

Geez :loco:

Is ESPN reporting us being in the Sweet 16 and dangerous, or was the lead story about how disappointing our regular season was?

I watched the first half of the UM/TX game. Texas missed tons of layups and couldn't play defense for ****e, and UM shot lights out.

Yes, TX has some bigs, but they're not nearly as athletic as the Bruise Brothers. I think it will be a Hell of a game. If UT shoots the three ball well, we'll win going away. If UT doesn't shoot the 3 ball well, as they've not this tourney, it will come down to the wire.

Im not sure it matters either way really.

When its over they will tout those that made the 16, the 8, the 4, and the 2. As well as the eventual winner.

Or they will run the teams that should have been in that group. Duke, Cuse, Wichita St., Kansas ect...

I'm taking a shot at those still obsessed with our regular season.

It did occur to me that unlike the other hot high-seeded teams like Dayton and Stanford, we've yet to score that "big" upset over a 2 or 3 seed. Espn didn't bring this up from what I saw, but it's a legitimate point. As far as the media is concerned, we seem to be the "it" team right now...fine by me. It may be because we're not just beating our competition, we're annihilating them
