We're going to give Alabama a game

Seriously, anyone who can hold them under 3 YPC, as SCjr did, has a chance because that forces McElroy to beat you and he happens to be the most overrated QB I've ever seen in college FB.

Ever? Point taken nonetheless. Still, holding Bama to under 3 ypc is a tall order. I'm surprised that USCe was able to pull that off.

As a general observation, USCe should have beaten Auburn. Don't look know, but this may be their year. For some reason, that does not bother me much at all.

You watch. Coming off the bye we are going to be rested and prepared.

Also all of you worried about the team and talking about firing this coach or that...think about where we are going to be with this team in three years...scary.

Is Saban going to throw the game to help his student Dooley or something?

Who knows what kind of game it will be next weekend. Just to let you guys know that USCjr "held" Ingram and Richardson to a little more than 4 yds per carry and not under 3 like some stated earlier. It was under 3 when you factor in the 7 sacks that McElroy took. On 4 of those sacks, he simply held on to the ball too long and wouldn't throw it out of bounds. As for Julio having a broken hand. He is practicing and going through all of the drills and likely will play against Ole Miss. Unless he has a set back today in practice, no way will Julio not play. He is no doubt the toughest football player in America. He has played with some sort of injury since arriving on campus. He will be more than ready when we come to Knoxville. I don't expect a blowout by no means. I expect a typical "slobber knocker" between to tradition rich SEC teams.

I have no clue where you are coming from when saying that Julia Jones :cray: is the toughest football player in america? He isn't even the toughest player on his team.

I've always noticed that we play UP to the other team. Like last year vs Bama. We play like crap against UCLA at their level. And play amazing against Bama. I think either way we're gonna have a game.

I have a question... I'm coming in for the bama game, and this is my first experience at neyland... I'm so excited as a VOL fan living in AL, I was just curious about bathrooms. Are there Porto potties in the tailgating Lots??? Please??? I need to know??

Are Alabama and Florida dropping football? If not, no chance UT is back at the top of the SEC by 2013.

Y'know, SGM...virtually every post you make reminds me of being in an elevator when someone farts.

It stinks...it has no substance...it has no place being there...and anyone with a hint of decorum tries to pretend it didn't happen.

Just thought I would share that with you.

Go Vols.

3 years, I agree, we are gonna be tough. Right now, not so much. Too young and inexperienced. Lots of people said we would beat Georgia and I said I had a bad feeling about that game. Well, we all know how that turned out. I think we keep the Bama game close until the end and they win by at least 14, maybe more.

We'll have to play out of our minds to win this game. We'll have to force turnovers and get 7 points off of each of them. Thats our only chance.

I dunno about McElroy being that bad. South Carolina just had their number all night. Not saying he's the best, either. We just need to force them into obvious passing situations. Pretty much do to them what everyone does to us...

Bama is going to score a hundred points on us. They'll be UT fans jumping simultaneously from both the Gay Street and Henley Bridges :ermm:

Though i dont think we are going to win i dont see Bama putting 40+ points on us, they have hit a wall with their dunk pass and play action passes. teams have the memo now, stack the line and you have a chance, Granted Wilcox and his merry men of 13 might not have received it yet.
