We're Going to Beat South Carolina

If the Vols win the turnover battle and eliminate the big plays from the SC offense, then yes... I think the Vols can win.

It is Fair Game any given Saturday. We can do this and beat South Carolina have faith and watch the VOLS come together. I am proud of these guys win or lose. Ihear all this negative talk about Coach Dooley but he is doing a good job. It is just taking sometime for him to make a few adjustments but all of those things come in time. He is a great leader for these young men and he really cares about the team!!!!!!

Coach Dooley.. Is that you?

I accidentally liked this trying to quote it dangit.. I was just going to point out that USC has lost 2 on their own, so your stat is wrong. Also, USC will beat us just like every other quality opponent has since dooleys been here.

The teams we have lost to are 27-1, gotta wait till this weekend to factor USC into it, one way or another. Of course, the 1 loss on that list is to USC, but whatever, that's life. We also beat NC-State who beat the #3 team in the nation, so by the transitive property of football, we should be beating everyone from here on out.

My Team Is Better Than Your Team - The Transitive Property of College Football

Its going to be a fun game, hopefully USC comes out with the same offense they brought to Florida and we come out with our GA game offense. A couple of good breaks and we could win this one on our way to the downhill portion of our schedule. Speaking of, we better win the last four or that buyout won't save Dooley.

Bump. Don't want you guys to get so lost in the Gruden speculation that you forget about us winning this game on Saturday.

Can anyone remember the last time a coach was fired the day after beating a top 20 ranked team on the road?

We will win this game, if we just do all the right things at the right times that we haven't done against a good team yet this year.

So if you factor in about 20 "ifs" occurring, then yeah we have a shot.

I don't know if Count is in this thread or not, but I told you the mouth breathers from Cocky Talk would show up to troll. Apologies for their ignorance.

Obviously, I hope we beat UT, but if we lose, I am going to laugh and laugh at those dip shyts predicting a thirty point loss for UT.

They should be. We are going to have to score some points to beat UT, because Bray should be able to pass where he wants against our secondary.

It should be an interesting game. I just hate noon starts. Means I'll have to start drinking around 9am.

no really, we are.

This is a great match-up for us and it is coming at the most optimal time.

South Carolina's overwhelming strength is their pass rush, which our OL should be able to mostly neutralize. Their second biggest strength is their secondary, which is an issue, but one we could theoretically overcome.

Offensively, they are banged up at RB and are playing musical chairs with their QBs.

A noon kickoff coming off back to back demoralizing Gamecock losses will mean that the crowd will be pretty sleepy next Saturday, a shadow of what it was when they played UGA.

I really think the tumblers are falling into place and we get the upset.

IN BASKETBALL NO WAY SATURDAY DOOLEY WILL SEE TO THAT.:eek:lol:

I hope you're right but i think they smack us around like Ike Turner.
