We're Going to Beat South Carolina

no really, we are.

This is a great match-up for us and it is coming at the most optimal time.

South Carolina's overwhelming strength is their pass rush, which our OL should be able to mostly neutralize. Their second biggest strength is their secondary, which is an issue, but one we could theoretically overcome.

Offensively, they are banged up at RB and are playing musical chairs with their QBs.

A noon kickoff coming off back to back demoralizing Gamecock losses will mean that the crowd will be pretty sleepy next Saturday, a shadow of what it was when they played UGA.

I really think the tumblers are falling into place and we get the upset.
:good!: Keep the faith!!!

I concur, this could be a let up game for SC since they have no shot at the East now. They're banged up and a good match up for us. No one will believe us though OP, ha. Secondary will have to play a lot better, obviously.

Bring positive is good. Being stupid is just stupid.

I'm in...why not.

What do we have to lose at this point? I say Dools Throws everything including the Kitchen Sink at them. It might be his last Hurrah at UT anyway (The November Schedule pales in comparison) and might set us up for a good ending.

maybe not, connor shaw will likely start and isn't the kinda QB thats gonna pick anyone apart. As long as the backend can tackle in space and support the run, we actually matchup well.
on the other hand, we've made some pretty average QB's look like F'n Tom Brady.

Sure...because our D can stop a decent Running Back...Florida, Georgia and Alabama's RBs just scored on Suckseri's D again...

We did win and with the way the rest of the seasons schedule loks it would save DD's job through next year

Spurrier will have his crew ready come Saturday. He'll probably double up on Patterson and our offense will not be able to effectively move the ball. Our D has been a letdown this year. They won't be able to hold em for more than about 2, maybe 3 quarters.

Threads were also started that we were going to beat Florida, Georgia, Miss St, and Bama. How did all those games turn out?

I live in SC so i really want this win regardless of the train wreck 2012 has been thus far. Worries about Lattimore getting a week of rest after only a few snaps last week. He is a beast when healthy.

No matter what team we play, If Bray ever takes a hit, game over, we lose. He throws the ball away, in the ground, or the other team. Start Worley, and let him run some, You think Florida would have lost some games if the QB stay in the pocket. The OC needs to change his game plan, running up the middle on first down, don't work. Heck, let Johnson play QB if he can throw any. We can always kick a field goal if we're down 30 points. I want Dooley to make it, I want the OC gone. He's a dud.

You mean we'll finally be 1-14 against ranked opponents and beat an SEC opponent better than Kentucky, Vanderbilt and Ole Miss??????

Let's keep him for 3 more years!

South Carolina is always the same team. They come out looking like a powerhouse going 6-0. Then they get their 1st loss and finish out going 0-6. I'm with the OP, we have a good chance to get a ranked win this weekend.
